Fun Fact: She met her husband, Gary DeGuire ’89, PharmD, when they were both PharmD students at Pacific.

Patty Fong ’10, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP is a staff pharmacist at Option Care.

What She Loves About Pacific: “I love the sense of community and rich extracurricular experiences.”

Why She Gives Back: “We need to support events like the white coat ceremony, graduation banquet and receptions with our time and treasure to ensure others have the same great experiences we had.”

Fun Facts: She has a black belt in taekwondo, is an aspiring home chef and a karaoke enthusiast.

Annie Ho ’12, PharmD is currently an oncology and infusion pharmacist at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

What She Loves About Pacific: “As a student, having mentors, alumni and faculty that cared about me made all the difference. I want our students to feel supported as they grow into professionals. Alumni have the opportunity to develop connections and serve as role models. I love engaging with students, learning about their passions and connecting them with resources to help them achieve their goals.”

Fun Fact: Dr. Ho, along with Michael Conner ’12, PharmD and Pat Person, RPh, founded the California Pharmacist Association’s Rx Bootcamp, a leadership conference for pharmacy students. “Students are taught valuable skills that complement their pharmacy school experience,” said Dr. Ho. “We have focused on collaborative practice, innovation and entrepreneurship.”

Hobbies: Yoga and rock climbing.

Johanna Liu ’09, PharmD, MBA, FCPhA is currently a director of quality and pharmacy at Santa Clara Family Health Plan.

Hobbies: Traveling and sampling the local cuisine of the places she visits.

Tom Maez ’85, PharmD is currently a divisional vice president at Rx relief.

Fun Fact: He has a black belt in karate.

Hobbies: Going camping and spending time with his three grandchildren.

Adam Morisoli ’10, PharmD is currently a pharmacist and the owner of Carlsbad Village Pharmacy.

Why He Loves Pacific: “The sense of community and family. I graduated a number of years ago now and am still creating new relationships and contacts within the Pacific family. For me, it all comes down to what gives your degree value. Generations before me have given their time, talent and treasure, allowing Pacific’s pharmacy program to remain well recognized and respected.”

Hobbies: Snowboarding, spending time at the beach and watching college football.

Nam Nguyen ’08, PharmD is currently a pharmacist team leader for CVS.

Stacey Raff ’96, PharmD, BCPS is currently a clinical operations manager for Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael.

Catherine Grady Sterk ’77, ’78, PharmD, FCSHP is currently an associate director of medical affairs at Genentech.

What She Loves About Pacific: “The friendships and professional connections that last a lifetime.”

Hobbies: Coaching volleyball and tennis.

Fun Facts: She has been a musical comedy entertainer for a casino in Tahoe, she swam around an island off the coast of Australia and she once accidentally skied off a cliff.

Jamie Tobitt ’90, PharmD is currently a senior medical science liaison at Vertex Pharmaceuticals.

Fun Fact: He is a member of The 501st Legion, a Star Wars costuming club, which often attends charity events and visits children’s hospitals. He owns three high-quality Star Wars costumes: a stormtrooper, a TIE pilot and Darth Vader.
